Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
• B.Sc. Eng/B.Eng in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer, Civil, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering,
• ECSA Registered Pr, Eng.
Related Minimum Experience
• 7 years extensive experience in engineering designs, design integration and engineering management in power generation technologies for materials handling plant, low pressure service plant, chemical plant, boiler emissions control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant processes, turbine center line, pumps, gas turbines, high pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant and related chemistry systems, electrical, C&I and civil.

Key Responsibilities
• Provides a technical consulting and investigation service for customers.
• Produces and integrates complex engineering solution/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications.
• Develops discipline-specific technology, strategy and direction setting
• Plans and controls discipline-specific research into new technologies.
• Represents Eskom in national and international technical forms.
• Manages and conducts complex product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluation.
• Provides professional technical leadership over senior engineers within their own discipline.
