UNISA Fees Structure 2023 – Why should you check the fee?
While candidates may apply for different courses at different undergraduate programmes or plan to do it, it may happen at a later stage that the candidates might not be aware of the fee structure of the University of South Africa for the respective college. It thus may not be able to arrange it before the deadline for the fee Submission.
Some of the candidates may want to apply for loans, thus it’s important that candidates arrange the admission fee/annual fee within the prescribed dates for its Submission. Student fees and funding your studies
Unisa’s study fees are generally lower than other higher education institutions, but studying is still a significant investment either way. The cost depends on the qualification, obviously, as well as the number of modules you choose.
The average student registers for between 4 and 6 modules per year at a cost of between *R1 743,00 and *R6 722,00 per module (*these amounts are subject to change). Themodulecosts do not include your prescribed books. Books are an additional cost that you must factor into your calculations for your full costs of study.

The application fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa or do not qualify for admission to Unisa.

Bursaries and loans for Unisa students
Unisa’s Division: Student Funding (DSF) administers donor funding in the form of bursaries and loans to Unisa students. The criteria for awarding these bursaries and loans are determined by the donors of the funding. All application forms are available at www.unisa.ac.za/studentfunding

Pay the online application fee of R120,00. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa or do not qualify for admission to Unisa.
Unisa does not accept cash at any of its offices. You may, however, deposit cash into the university’s First National Bank account.
