Purpose Statement
- Continuous business and industry research to guide the critical evaluation of new and existing software / application solutions
- Undertake impact analysis specific to solution and the changes thereof, within the solution and effected peer systems and/or teams
- Identification and documentation of Risks, Issues and Decisions needed in support of project deliverables and scope. This also includes understanding of Project Management principles (Prince2).
- Understanding and conceptualisation of the MIS/Reporting requirements and platform/solution reporting
- Leadership skills including management of teams, expectations and process, solution and operational change
- Implement feasible techniques to elicit and analyse business problems and translate them into business requirements
- Evaluate technical solutions and business processes against business requirements
- Actively Involved in the Software Development Life Cycle and project delivery
- Provide guidance and support to Software Testing efforts (assists with test case definition and acceptance criteria)
Experience
Min:
- Must have proven experience as a Business Analyst or Operational specialist within a Software Development team
- Website and digital marketing experience
- Basic project management experience
Business Analyst
- At least 2 – 5 years’ experience as Business Analyst
- Basic project management experience
- CX and Journey mapping
Qualifications (Minimum)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
Knowledge
Min:
- Must have detailed knowledge of:
- Banking and IT Standards and governance
- Testing practices and methodology
Ideal
- Detailed knowledge of:
- Agile development life cycle
- Change Management
- Banking systems
- Spira testing would be an advantage
- Website and/or digital channel environment
- Solid understanding of:
- Project Management
- Communication Skills and Conflict Management
