This role is eligible for the Corporate Office Dual Workplace Arrangement. This new way of work introduces a hybrid working model for Mediclinic Southern Africa (MCSA) Corporate Office employees. Eligible employees will be required to be in the office (25 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch) for two scheduled days a week and the other three days will be worked from home.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage the development or implementation of large-scale application software packages relating to the Continuum of Care that support the Core Enterprise systems strategy with the related business processes, information flows, reporting, and data analytics within Mediclinic. To manage the Life cycle of systems within this portfolio and ensure future alignment with departmental goals whilst integrating the different solutions and supporting the simplification of the technology landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- To manage the implementation of Continuum of Care Systems within Mediclinic
- Manage key account and stakeholder relations
- To lead and manage Service Delivery within the portfolio
- To manage Service Contract Management within the portfolio
- To manage and control budgets/finances within the portfolio
- To Lead and manage the people in the team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- 3 Year IT related degree and/or a similar BTech in ICT Related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- At least 10 years of experience in Systems Architecture or Analysis in a healthcare environment
- At least 5 years experience within operations, including all the infrastructure disciplines; networking, technical support (all platforms including database)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year exposure to IT security disciplines
