Job Purpose
To provide administrative services to clients by attending to transactional, lending and investment needs to achieve Nedbanks’ strategic focus to become a client-centric bank.
Job Responsibilities
• Deal Forum proposals
• Tracking of FAIS reviews and prepping in advance
• Preparing reviews
• Preparing pack for new acquisitions
• Managing the attrition and outflows
• ROR and ROA – thus Request all information / product options / penalties / sec14 quotes etc from product suppliers – with necessary client authorization letter – fee / cost comparisons – fund / product comparisons – Summary preparation with the above info – then discuss with WM
• FAIS compliant by checking the following:
• Manage and observe the suggested funds on the NPW approved fund list
• Manage and observe asset allocation in line with our house-view ranges
• Manage and observe asset allocation conforms to the clients chosen mandate as well as tax sensitivity
• Managing restrictions or specific instructions
• Fees – are fees in line with current standardised
• Keep track of breaches, suggestions of changes and fees which are not standardised
• Loading and capturing sales activity
• Prepping the EDD and High-Risk Reviews
• Assist with conformance and compliance of portfolios
• Co-ordinating the various parties to the client – for example when it is a Trust
• Diary management
• Assets under management bookkeeping – with all platforms – Or will/can this be done by another reporting person/system automatically?
• All daily admin tasks e.g: inquiries (as far as possible – refer advice inquiries to WM), send out statements, take messages, handle emails (as far as possible – refer advice emails to WM), all PA tasks
• Change / update of client info on all systems – after necessary confirmation with client
• Check systems for completeness in terms of FICA and all other documentation requirements (ROA, implementation docs, Mandates etc)
• Submission / follow-up / completion of all implementations / appointments until completed
• Drawing up closing letter per client for confirmation of all implementation
• Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell
Essential Qualifications – NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Technical / Professional Knowledge
- Microsoft Office
